Description

Naturally cured on the tree, and harvested late in the winter, almost ready to eat, this olive is an absolute treat. The curing is completed on a bed of thick sea salt. Dark colored, with a wrinkled skin, and a delightful texture, this fruit is rich, succulent, and exceptionally mellow.

The Halkidiki Olives grows and cultivated in northern Greece on the Halkidiki Peninsula with its unique climate condition and soil characteristics make this olive developed a full, spicy and slightly bitter taste with a hint of fruity aroma without any hint of oiliness. The black Halkidiki olives are harvested in its adult stage which is about two months after the young green Halkidiki olives are harvested.
