Description
Lebanon has a deep history when it comes to the production of honey. This premium honey, sourced from a small bee farmer, uses a traditional method based on the historic ways of their ancestors, to ensure the best quality of honey. The bees gather the pollen from altitudes ranging between 200 and 2500 metres and are transported throughout the year to the optimal altitude. This traditional method ensures that the bees are not fed anything artificial (sugar for example). The bees feed on the orange blossom in the spring before being moved to an altitude of 600 metres to feed on the honeydew from the acorn of the oak trees resulting in a July harvest of a rich dark-amber honey. It represents a truly unique product and the finest oak honey that Lebanon has to offer.
Overseen and produced in a partnership with Reach 961 in Lebanon, this honey has undergone quality testing to ensure its purity. Every step of the process has been monitored and verified by the Reach 961 team who directly helped the farmers to produce a high quality product. Every time you buy this product you will be supporting the livelihood of local Lebanese farmers.
