Grape leaves are used in the cuisines of many cultures. They are most often stuffed with a mixture of rice, meat, and spices, and then cooked. Stuffed grape leaves can be served as an appetizer or as a main dish.  In Lebanon they are rolled thumb sized with a spiced rice and minced lamb stuffing.  Then they are steamed in a Dutch oven with lamb chops.
